Hybrid Working Support in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur

The first coworking space

On 9 August 2005, a certain Brad Neuberg created the very first Coworking space in San Francisco, located within the walls of Spiral Muse, a feminist collective. Neuberg had friends at Spiral Muse and shared his idea with one of them, Elana Auerbach. She agreed the use of the Spiral Muse space twice a week for a total of $300 per month allowing Brad to benefit from all the profits made beyond. The San Francisco Coworking Space officially opened its doors in the spirit of maintaining the opportunity and freedom to work independently while providing structure and a working community with WIFI access, shared lunches, meditation sessions and even massages.
